  • Synthetic quartz: Transmission of@ultraviolet rays is high. Durability against ultraviolet rays is outstanding.
  • UV transmission glass: Since less ozone is generated compared with synthetic quartz, no measures against ozone are necessary.

Transmittance of Materials

Guarantee period of a Lamp

A lamp is guaranteed for 1 year form its delivery date.

Cautions on using Lamps

  1. While lit, harmful ultraviolet rays are generated. Do not look at the lamp directly without protective glasses, nor expose your body to the ultraviolet rays.
  2. While lit or just after turning off, the lamp is very hot (higher than 200Ž). Do not touch the lamp directly.
  3. Dirty window of the lamp decreases transmission of the ultraviolet rays. If dirty, wipe the window with a clear cloth moistened with alcohol.
  4. High voltage is applied to start the lamp. Be careful about electric shock hazard.
  5. Do not fix the lamp by holding the nose part because it breaks easily.
